Jake Wetzel

Jake Wetzel is a PhD student in the Finance and Urban Land Economics division at the University of British Columbia.  Prior to starting the doctoral program he obtained a MSc in Urban Land Economics from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, an MSc in Financial Economics from the Said School of Business at Oxford University and a undergraduate degree from Berkeley in Economics and Statistics.  Jake became Olympic Champion while proudly representing Canada in the Mens Eight at the 2008 Olympic Games returning after a photo finish loss in the 2004 Olympic Games.  Professional activities include a position as a research associate with Primewest Partnership as well as being a founding partner in the Condor Consulting Group.

Vincent Grégoire

Vincent Grégoire is a PhD student in the Finance division at the University of British Columbia. Prior to starting the doctoral program he obtained a MSc in Financial Engineering, an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, all from Laval University. In 2008, he successfully passed the Level 3 exam of the CFA curriculum. Professional activities include consulting work for Merrill Lynch Canada and Harfan Technologies (now part of Altus group). He is a founding partner in the Condor Consulting Group.
